Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr (MBE) is an Irish musician, singer also a musician, actor and singer. Corr first made her appearance in the year 1990 as lead singer for The Corrs, a Celtic pop-rock and rock band The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim and three of their older siblings. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She's a singer-songwriter as well as a musician and actor. She has been awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award in 2005 and is best known for being a member of the Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs. She sings and plays several instruments in The Corrs. She began acting in 1991 Andrea was later recognized as an accomplished musician as well as a stage artist. She sang the playback for Warner Bros.' 1998 animated feature film The Quest for Camelot. With six studio albums two compilation albums and two live albums and one remix album, Andrea has truly established herself as a multifaceted artist. Her work has been praised for her work in the field of charity too. Andrea along with her husband, a stockbroker, have two children. Andrea began her music lessons by learning to play the Tin whistle. Andrea learned how to play piano with the guidance of Gerry. Andrea is also proficient on the ukulele. Andrea spent the majority of her teens honing her music abilities. She teamed up with her brothers and sisters to become the singer for the group. Andrea was often a part of the school's plays. She went to Dun Lughaidh Convent.
