Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th 1960) is an American actor. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actor. Bassett was raised in New York New York and was raised by her aunt living in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her sister who were about five years old, moved from New York to St. Petersburg to live with their mother, who was the separated father. Bassett was at the age of high school when she watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and realized that her desire of becoming an actor had been realized. She attended Yale University New Haven Connecticut and graduated with a bachelor's degree (1980) on African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale, and in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. Bachelor of Arts (Afro-American Studies) in 1980. A Master of Fine Arts (Drama) from Yale School of Drama School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the main parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
